An additional development site for Sydney's high speed rail network is anticipated to commence in mid 2017 and is located opposite the hotel entrance on Pitt Street. The work is the development of a new metro station with the majority of work underground. Some sporadic daytime noise disturbance may be experienced. Estimated completion of this transport project is 2022.
Valid for 19JUL16-30APR17: Refurbishment: - Primus Hotel Sydney has advised of the redevelopment of an office block taking place adjacent to the property which is expected to be completed by early 2019. The building is currently being stripped back to its frame which results in sporadic daytime noise disturbance. This phase is expected to be completed by 30 April 2017 at which time noise disturbance should decrease. The property is in communication with site management on a weekly basis to ascertain forward work plans and any significant interruptions. Rooms that face/overlook the redevelopment site have been placed out of service and are only utilised on a last sell basis. The adjacent redevelopment works are taking place from Monday to Friday between 08.00am and 6.00pm and Saturday between 10.00am and 3.00pm.
