Valid for 01APR18-31MAR19:
Depart from the centrally located jetty on a relaxing cruise, through the picturesque and calm inland waterways of Mandurah. View playful wild dolphins in their natural environment socialising, feeding and on some occasions surfing in the wake of the boat. There is over 100 resident Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins living in our waterways and we work closely with the local universities and rescue groups to help research and conservation efforts. Cruise through the Port Mandurah Canals, through the back yards of some of Western Australia's most valuable canal side real estate, see heritage protected pioneer sites, and sites of indigenous importance. View the Creery Wetlands, declared by the United Nations as an ecological site of international significance, with its abundance of birdlife. Birdlife of the area includes pelicans, cormorants and osprey and a migration occurs from May to October, with sighting of birds from as far as Russia recorded. Continue to the entrance of the Peel Inlet, twice the size of Sydney Harbour, and part of the Peel-Harvey estuary, the largest estuary system in South Western Australia. The vessel turns and heads back to Mandurah Town centre, here the cruise concludes. Enjoy all this and more whilst learning about the dolphins, the unique marine environment and the history of the region from our well-informed tour guides.
