View the Creery Wetlands, declared by the United Nations as an ecological site of international significance with its abundance of birdlife. Birdlife in the area includes pelicans, cormorants, osperay and an migration occurs from May - October with sighting of birds from as far as Russia. Cross the Peel Inlet, twice the size of Sydney Harbour and the largest estuary system in South Western Australia. From here enter the tranquil and winding Murray River, framed by gum trees, paper barks and quaint homes. The Murray River holds significant cultural and historic value to both indigenous and settler communities. Along the way view spectacular wild dolphins in their natural environment, playing and feeding. The region has a population of over 100 Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins living in the waterways, and we work closely with local universities and rescue groups to help research and conservation efforts.
