Dress Code What to Bring and FAQ's - The most important thing is to dress warmly as due to the open nature of the boat it can be cool when we are cruising even in summer. These cruises depart from mainland and drop you off on Penguin Island, please check in at our front counter 30 minutes prior to finalize payments and sign waiver of liability These cruises depart from Penguin Island so passengers need to allow enough time to check in and catch the ferry to Penguin Island prior. The ferry departs Shoalwater hourly 9am - 3pm please feel free to arrive earlier to take full advantage of Penguin Island prior to your boat cruise. If you're running late please call us on 9591 1333 or 0448958667. We will always do our best to help late comers, but can't undermine the experience for others by holding up the cruise. Please be aware that you will be charged in full if you miss the tour (something we don't enjoy having to do) so please be on time. All passengers must sign the waiver of liability to participate in the cruise. Getting Here We are located on the corner of Arcadia Drive and Penguin Rd in Shoalwater. For a location map visit penguinisland.com.au/visitor-information.html#3 Allow at least 45 minutes to drive from Perth. There is free parking on site and overflow parking available at the Safety Bay Bowling Club on the corner of Penguin Rd & Gloucester St, Shoalwater. Please don't park on private property as you will risk a fine from the local council. For public transport, take the train south from Perth on the Mandurah Line and disembark at Rockingham Station. Buses depart from outside the station. Catch Bus 551 or 552 from Stand 10 and get off at Penguin Rd. Walk west along Penguin Rd towards the beach where our shop is located.
